fashion with purpose
Since its founding in 1999, NOiR has established itself as the premier runway fashion organization at the University of Michigan, combining fashion, service, and artistry to create impactful, shows that support charitable causes.

In 2011, NOiR introduced the
Be Kind. Be Bold. Be You.
campaign, a cornerstone of our identity aimed at combating bullying by encouraging individuality, boldness, and kindness.
Today, NOiR brings together over 50 models, a dozen designers, and countless sponsors and staff in a shared mission to make fashion a powerful tool for positive change.

style meets impact
At the heart of NOiR lies a dedication to service. Each year, our organization rallies over 50 models, designers, and a committed team to support a cause chosen by our executive board. We believe fashion is more than an art

—it’s an instrument of service.

inspiring creativity
NOiR thrives on pushing boundaries and raising the bar for creativity, production, and quality. As the host of the largest fashion show on campus, we continue to innovate and showcase the synergy of fashion and artistry.

Supported by industry icons like Big Sean and celebrity stylist Dutch the Omen, NOiR’s runway is a stage for bold ideas and talent. Each year, we amplify our impact by expanding our reach, featuring new designers to ensure that NOiR remains a symbol of innovation at the University of Michigan.
